I'm Type A to the bone, and I've been traveling since I was under a year old — travel isn't a job I fell into, it's just always been who I am. I'm Jamaican-Canadian, and before CoMotion I spent seven-plus years in customer success across SaaS — EdTech, procurement technology, building technology — solving the same problem for different industries: how do you keep a lot of moving parts, and a lot of different people, on the same page? Group travel is that problem too, just with better scenery.
I've spent 10+ years in customer service and the last five-plus running Customer Success, as an advocate and the voice of the customer — I know ball. That background is exactly why I care so much about getting the details right: a trip isn't really about the itinerary, it's about the core memory you walk away with, and that only happens when the planning disappears into the background.
CoMotion started because I kept watching people I love try to plan trips together over group chats that fell apart under their own weight — mismatched dates, guests booking the wrong hotel, nobody sure who owed what. I wanted a better way to get everyone to the same beach, on the same day, without losing the plot.
"Together, we motion" is our tagline because that's exactly the deal: you bring the vision, and we make it happen. You need someone in your corner to help pull it off, and that's us — whether it's eighty guests or just you, every trip gets the same hands-on, TICO-protected care from start to finish. And because we build real value into every trip, affordability is never the question.
CoMotion is TICO-registered and affiliated with Prestige Travel Group and Travel Leaders Network, with specialist certification in Jamaica travel through the Jamaica Tourist Board. Based in Ajax, Ontario, I work primarily with clients across the GTA and Durham Region — planning destination weddings, family reunions, milestone birthdays, and all-inclusive getaways, solo trips included.
